CVS Ad 5/19: Best Coupon Deals & Sales

best coupon deals at CVS
Here are the best freebies and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for May 19 - 25, 2013.

If you're new to shopping at CVS, go here to get started, and be sure to snag a free Extra Care card from your cashier when you head into the store.

Also, be sure to scan your green bag tag (if you have one) before May 31 -- the program is retiring, but CVS will give you a final $2 Extra Bucks reward as a thank-you for participating!

Best deals in the 5/19 CVS ad

  • Kraft Mac & Cheese or Velveeta Skillets -- on sale for $2 each, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15.  If you can get enough coupons, consider this deal: buy 8 Velveeta Skillets for a pre-coupon price of $16.  Use eight of this $1 off coupon (requires four computers), and pay $8 out of pocket, then get your $5 back in Extra Bucks.  That means your final price for everything is just $3 -- or 38 cents per box!
  • Mars chocolate candy bars -- 6-packs on sale for $1 each, with $1 back in Extra Bucks when you buy three packs.  So your final price is $2 for all three packs, or 67 cents each.  That's right about 11 cents per bar!
  • Coke 2-liters -- priced at 99 cents each (limit 5 per transaction.)  Scan your Extra Care card at the CVS coupon machine, and you'll score a 25 cents off coupon.  That drops your price to 74 cents instead.
  • Cheez-Its or Keebler cookies -- on sale 2 for $4, with $1 back in Extra Bucks.  Use two of this 70 cents off coupon, and your final price after Extra Bucks drops to 80 cents each!
  • Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste -- priced at $2.99, with $1 back in Extra Bucks.  Use this $1 off coupon (sort by Personal Care to find it fast) and your final price falls to just 99 cents.
  • Irish Spring body wash -- priced at 2 for $7, with $3 back in Extra Bucks.  Use two of the $1 off coupons from the upcoming 5/19 Smartsource insert, and your new price drops to a dollar each!
  • Ragu pasta sauce -- on sale 3 for $5, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15.  So buy nine jars (ask your store manager for a special order as necessary) for a final price of $10.  That means your price is $1.10 per jar -- no coupons necessary.
  • Skippy peanut butter -- on sale 2 for $5, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15.  So buy six jars for $10 after Extra Bucks, or just $1.67 each.  Note: you can mix and match with the Ragu deal as necessary.
  • Clear hair care -- on sale for $5 each, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15.  So buy three, and use the BOGO coupon arriving in the 5/19 Red Plum insert.  Your price drops to $5 for all three bottles after coupons and Extra Bucks -- which works out to $1.67 each.
  • Revlon Luxurious Colorsilk Buttercream hair color -- priced at $4.49, with $2 back in Extra Bucks.  Use this 75 cents off coupon and get yours for a final price for $1.74 instead.
  • Eggs -- on sale for $1.99 per dozen.
  • Purex laundry detergent -- 24 to 33 load bottles on sale for $2.50 each.  Use this 50 cents off coupon and get yours for two bucks instead.
  • Sparkle paper towels -- 8-count packs priced at $5 each, with $10 back when you spend $30.  So buy six, and use six of the $1 off coupons from the 5/5 Red Plum inserts.  After coupons and Extra Bucks, your new price drops to $2.33 per pack -- or a mere 29 cents per roll.
  • Huggies diapers -- on sale for $10 each, with $10 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $30.  So buy three packs, and use three of this $1.50 off coupon.  Your price drops to $16.50 for all three packs after coupons and Extra Bucks -- which means just $5.50 per pack.
  • Spoiled nail tote with flip-flops or Wet n Wild nail pail -- priced at $9.99, with $4 back in Extra Bucks.  So that's like paying $5.99 for a great gift idea!
  • Nexxus hair care -- Spend $20 or more, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.
  • Revlon cosmetics -- Spend $15 or more, get $7 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the $1 off coupons from the 4/28 Smartsource insert to drop your price even further.

  • Edy's or Dreyer's -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
  • Lay's chips -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
