Family Dollar Ad 4/28: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best deals I spotted in the Family Dollar ad for April 28 - May 4, 2013.

As always, I recommend you print out the Family Dollar coupon policy and keep it in your binder for future reference.  (By the way, this looks like it was updated this month, so if you haven't reviewed it in awhile, now's the time.)

Don't forget you can stack Family Dollar coupons with manufacturer coupons for the best deals -- just be sure to read the fine print before you shop, as there are often limits on like items bought per transaction. 

Best deals in the April 28 Family Dollar ad

• Sally Hansen Hard As Nails nail polish -- on sale for $2, with $2 back in Family Dollars.  So free!  Limit one offer per transaction.
• Zyrtec -- 5-count packs priced at $5.50 each.  Use the $6 off coupon from the 4/28 Smartsource insert, and get yours for free!  Note that Family Dollar does not offer overage.
• Snausages dog treats -- 4.5oz bags on sale for $1.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 3/17 Red Plum and pay a quarter instead.  Some regions actually received a $1 off coupon -- so if you have that one, your bag is free!
• Lever 2000 soap -- 4-count packs priced at $2.50 each, with $2 back in Family Dollars when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two, and use two $1 off coupons.  Your new price drops to $1 for both after coupons and Family Dollars -- so just 50 cents each!  *stockpile price*
• Lance crackers -- 6-count packs on sale for 88 cents each, no coupons necessary.  Limit 4 packs per transaction.
• Clorox disinfecting wipes -- 35-count canisters on sale for $2.50 each, plus you'll receive $4 in Family Dollars when you spend $12 or more after coupons.  So buy six canisters, and use two 75 cents off coupons.  After coupons and Family Dollars, your price for all six drops to $9.50, or $1.58 per canister.  *stockpile price*
• Bic Soleil disposable razors -- 4-count pack on sale for $5.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 4/14 Smartsource and pay two bucks instead.
• Tyson Anytizers wings -- 11oz bag on sale for $3.50.  Use this $1 off coupon and pay $2.50 for yours.
• Toys $5 and up -- on sale Buy One, Get One 50% Off.  Brands include Dora the Explorer, Angry Birds, Justice League, Play-Doh, Barbie, and more.
