Dollar General Ad 3/17: Best Sales & Deals


Here are the best deals I spotted in the Dollar General ad for March 17 - 23, 2013.  

If you plan to become a regular couponer here, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.  

Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!


Best deals in the 3/17 Dollar General ad


  • Dollar General coupon -- Save $5 off your purchase of $25 or more on Saturday, March 23 only.
  • Bic Classic Shavers -- 10-12 count bags priced at $2.75.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 3/17 Smartsource and get yours for free!
  • Bic Comfort 3 disposable razors -- 4-count priced at $2.75.  You could use the $3 off coupon from the 3/17 Smartsource on these as well -- so also free!
  • Glade PlugIns scented oil holder -- on sale for $1.  Use this $1 off coupon (sort by Household to find it fast.)  Your price is free!
  • 7UP soda -- priced at $1.25 per 2-liter.  If your store stocks 7UP Ten, use the 75 cents off coupon from the 3/3 Spring Into Flavor insert and pay 50 cents for yours.
  • Easter grass -- priced at 50 cents per pack.
  • PAAS Easter Egg decorating kits -- priced at $1 each.  Buy two and use this $1 off 2 coupon.  Your new price is 50 cents each.
  • Clover Valley canned veggies -- on sale for 60 cents per can.
  • Carnation evaporated milk -- on sale for $1 per can.  Buy two and use this 50 cents off 2 coupon.  Your new price is 75 cents each.
  • Velveeta Cheesy Skillets -- priced at $1.95 per box.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 2/24 Smartsource and get yours for 95 cents.

  2. When I go to the dollar general store dont acept the coupons and $5off :(

  3. They should have as long as you exceed the total amount before coupons. I've never had a problem but I only use one coupon per item. I don't buy multiple alike items when using coupons. Hope this helps.
