There is an awesome stockpile opportunity happening on Scott bathroom tissue at CVS next week -- we will be able to score packs for as little as 14 cents per regular sized roll, no coupons required!
My personal stockpile price for toilet paper is anything under 20 cents per roll, so I will definitely be taking advantage of this deal.
Here's how the math works out:
From January 13 - 19, 2012, Scott paper towels and toilet paper will be part of a Spend $30, Get A $10 Gift Card promotion at CVS.
The 18-count packs of Scott double rolls will be on sale for $7.49 as well...so here's the scenario I'm planning:

- Scott Extra Soft toilet paper -- on sale for $7.49 for 18-count pack of double rolls.
- Buy four for a total of $29.96, which will be enough to trigger the free $10 CVS gift card (the cash register rounds up on these promotions, so if you get within a quarter or so of the $30 minimum purchase, you should be fine.)
- So your final price is $19.96 for all four packs. That's like paying $4.99 for each pack of 18 double rolls, or a mere 14 cents per regular sized roll!
The CVS ad for the week is hinting that we may see Scott coupons in the 1/13 Sunday papers, so this deal could get even lower. I will definitely keep everyone posted!

CVS goes by a 98% rule - you must be within 98% of the price in order to activate an ECB or GC deal. Just wanted to clarify for anyone reading so they don't think they can be 25 cents short of a "Spend $10, Get..." type deal since you would need to be at $9.80 in this case.
