Here are the best deals I spotted in the January 16 La Fiesta ad, which you can pick up in stores now through January 22, 2012.

  • La Moderna pasta -- on sale for 34 cents per pack.
  • Bic pens -- on sale for 89 cents per bag.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 1/6 Smartsource insert.  Your new price is 39 cents each.
  • Gulf Pacific brown rice -- on sale for 50 cents per pound.
  • Pinto beans -- on sale for 69 cents per pound.
  • Tomatoes -- on sale for 69 cents per pound.
  • Swiss Miss hot cocoa -- on sale for $1 per box.  Buy two boxes and use the 50 cents off 2 coupon from the 12/9 Smartsource (expires 1/19.)  Your new price falls to 75 cents per box.
  • Chicken drumsticks -- on sale for 77 cents per pound.
  • Sirloin pork chops -- on sale for $1 per pound in value-pack sizing.
  • Jennie-O turkey bacon -- 12oz pack on sale for $2.  Use this $1 off coupon and get yours for a buck instead.
  • Malt O Meal cereal -- assorted varieties on sale for $1.69 per bag.  Buy three bags and use this $1.50 off 3 coupon.  Your new price drops to $1.19 each.
