The Houston Chronicle and the San Antonio Express-News are once again offering free Texas Smart Buys Extreme Couponing Workshops in January and February 2016!
Fair warning: I have heard from readers in the past that these workshops don't necessarily offer you a ton of information, especially if you are a brand-new couponer.
What they WILL offer you is usually a pretty great rate on newspaper subscriptions -- sometimes 50% off on delivery or more.
That may be worth attending just to skip running around for coupons each and every weekend.
Here are the dates and times to choose from:
- Sunday, January 24, 2016 -- the Hilton Garden Inn on Willow Chase Blvd in Houston. Choose from the 1pm, 3:30pm, or 6pm workshop.
- Tuesday, January 26, 2016 -- the Hilton Garden Inn in Webster, Texas. Choose from the 3:30pm or the 7pm workshop.
- Wednesday, January 27, 2016 -- the Humble Civic Center in Humble, Texas. Choose from the 3:30pm or the 7pm workshop.
- Sunday, January 31, 2016 -- the Republic Golf Club in San Antonio. Choose from the 3:30pm or the 7pm workshop.
- Monday, February 1, 2016 -- at the DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Airport. Choose from the 3:30pm or the 7pm workshop.
Again, all these workshops are free, but they do require RSVPs to attend.
