Walgreens Ad 7/26: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for July 26 - August 1, 2015!

Best back to school deals in the 7/26 Walgreens ad

• Wexford 2-Pocket Paper Folders -- on sale for 10 cents each.  Limit 10 per customer.
• Wexford Highlighters -- on sale for 17 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 6 per customer.
• Sticky Notes -- on sale for 17 cents per pack with in-ad coupon.  Limit 6 per customer.
• Wexford School Glue or Jumbo Glue Stick -- on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per customer.
• Wexford #2 Pencils -- 8-count packs on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 6 per customer.
• Wexford Mechanical Pencils -- 3-count packs on sale for 49 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per customer.
• Scotch Tape Twin-Packs -- on sale for 69 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per customer.
• Wexford Filler Paper -- on sale for 79 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per customer.
• Select Sharpie Markers -- 2-count packs on sale for 99 cents each.
• Expo Dry Erase Markers -- 4-count packs on sale for $2.99 each with in-ad coupon.  Stack the $1 off coupon arriving in the 7/26 Smartsource insert, and knock your price down to $1.99.
• Magnetic Locker Supplies -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.

Best deals in the 7/26 Walgreens ad

• Tide Laundry Detergent -- 24 or 32-load bottles on sale for $4.99, with 5000 Balance Reward points (like $5 in buying power) when you buy $20 worth of select P&G products (including Tide and Dawn!) in a single transaction.  So buy four bottles of Tide, plus a bottle of Dawn (on sale for 99 cents.)  Your pre-coupon price will be $20.95 for all five items.  Now, some readers may receive $3 off Tide coupons in the 7/26 P&G inserts.  If you're lucky enough to receive those, use four $3 off coupons, plus a 25 cents off Dawn coupon that will also be in the same 7/26 P&G insert.  You'll pay $8.70 out of pocket for all five items, and then you'll receive your 5000 Balance Rewards for a future purchase.  So that's like a final price of $3.70 for all five items, or just 74 cents per item!
• Schick Disposable Razors -- assorted varieties on sale for $5.99 each, with 5000 Balance Reward points (like $5 in buying power) when you buy $20 in a single transaction.  So buy four packs for a pre-coupon price of $23.96, then use four $4 off coupons from the 7/26 Smartsource inserts.  You'll pay $7.96 out of pocket, then receive your 5000 Balance Rewards for a future purchase.  So that's like a final price of $2.96 after all discounts, or just 74 cents per pack!

• Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer -- priced at $2.99 per bottle.  Stack the $1 off Walgreens coupon (available in the monthly coupon book at the front of the store) with the $1 off coupon arriving in the 7/26 Smartsource insert.  Your final price drops to just 99 cents.
• Colgate Total or Optic White Toothpaste -- on sale for $3.49, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 7/26 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $2.99 out of pocket, then get your $2 back in Register Rewards.  So your final price is 99 cents.
• 7UP, A&W, Sunkist, Canada Dry, or Hawaiian Punch Soda -- all on sale for $1 per 2-liter.
• Suave Body Wash -- 12 oz bottles on sale for $2 each.  Use the BOGO coupon arriving in the 7/26 Red Plum insert and pay a buck per bottle instead!
• L'Oreal Advanced Haircare Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale for $3.99 per bottle.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 7/26 Red Plum insert, and pay $1.99 for yours.
• Nice! One Dozen Large Grade A Eggs -- on sale for $1.99 per carton.
• Tresemme Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale for $3.99 per bottle.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 7/26 Red Plum insert, and pay $1.99 for yours.
• Revlon Colorsilk Hair Color -- on sale 2 boxes for $5 with in-ad coupon.  Stack the $1 off 2 coupon from the 6/28 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to $2 per box!
• Starbucks Doubleshots -- 4-count packs on sale for $3.99 each.  
• Backpacks -- assorted backpacks with original price of $10.99 or higher are on BOGO sale.
• Ground Beef or Ground Butterball Turkey -- on sale BOGO 50% off, no prices listed in ad.
