Walgreens Ad 4/5: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for April 5 - 11, 2015.

Best deals in the 4/5 Walgreens ad

  • Nestle Candy Bars -- on sale 2 for $1.
  • Colgate Max Fresh or Max White Toothbrushes -- on sale 2 for $5, with $3 back in Register Rewards when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use two 50 cents off coupons from the 3/22 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $4 out of pocket, and then you'll get your $3 Register Reward.  So that's like a final price of $1 for both, or 50 cents apiece!
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch -- on sale for $1.88 per box.  Use this 50 cents off coupon to pay $1.38 out of pocket, then submit for this 50 cents SavingStar rebate.  Your final price drops to just 88 cents!
  • Kellogg's Pop-Tarts -- on sale 2 boxes for $4.  Use two of this $1 off coupon (points required.)  Your price drops to a buck per box.
  • Kellogg's Cereal -- assorted varieties also on sale 2 boxes for $4.  Use two of this $1 off coupon (points required.)  Your price drops to a buck per box.
  • Tresemme Shampoo, Conditioner, or select Stylers -- on sale for $3.99 each, with 1000 Balance Reward points (like $1 in buying power) when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two bottles for a pre-coupon price of $7.98, then use two $2 off coupons from the 3/22 Red Plum insert.  You'll pay $3.98 out of pocket, and then you'll get your $1 in buying power to use later.  So that's like a final price of $2.98 for both bottles, or $1.49 each!
  • Zantac -- 24 to 30-count boxes on sale for $8.99.  Stack the $2 off Walgreens coupon (available in the April Walgreens coupon book) with the $4 off coupon from the 3/1 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to a final price of just $2.99.
  • Scott Naturals Paper Towels -- 6-roll pack on sale for $4.99.  Stack the $1 off Walgreens coupon available in the April Walgreens coupon book with the 75 cents off coupon from the 3/8 Smartsource insert (expires April 5!)  Your final price drops to $3.24 for your pack.
  • iTunes Gift Cards -- Buy two $25 gift cards, get a free $10 Walgreens gift card.  Limit two free Walgreens gift cards per customer.
  • Tide Simply Clean & Fresh Laundry Detergent -- 25-load bottles on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 3/15 Red Plum for additional savings.
  • Snuggle Fabric Softener or Dryer Sheets -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Buy four, then use the $2 off 2 coupon from the 3/1 Red Plum insert to save even more.
  • Wisk Laundry Detergent -- also on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/15 Red Plum insert (this was a regional coupon, so not everyone will have received it) to pay even less for yours.
  • Softsoap Liquid Hand Soap or Liquid Hand Soap Refill -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/22 Red Plum insert and get yourself an even better deal.
  • Caress Body Wash -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/22 Red Plum insert and get yourself an even deeper discount.
