Walgreens Ad 3/22: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for March 22 - 28, 2015.

Best deals in the 3/22 Walgreens ad

  • Colgate MaxFresh Toothpaste -- on sale for $3 per tube, but click here to see how you can get paid 50 cents to buy yours instead!  NOTE: If you don't yet have the Snap by Groupon app, there is a $1 toothpaste rebate available for new users.  So that makes this a $1.50 money-maker for some of you!
  • Lindt Chocolate Bar -- on sale for $2.99 each.  If you're new to the Shopmium app, you can get $2.99 back in rebates, which makes your chocolate free!
  • Chicken of the Sea Chunk Light Tuna -- on sale for 69 cents per can with in-ad coupon.  Buy two and stack the 50 cents off 2 Walgreens coupon from the March coupon book (it should be up at the front with the ad circulars.)  Your price drops to 44 cents per can!
  • Softsoap Body Wash -- on sale for $2.99, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  We should see a $1.50 off coupon arriving in the 3/22 Smartsource insert.  Use that and pay $1.49 out of pocket, then get your $1 back in Register Rewards.  Your final price falls to just 49 cents, which is a TERRIFIC price for this brand!
  • Easter Novelty Candy -- on sale 2 for $1, which works out to 50 cents apiece.
  • Easter Grass -- on sale 2 bags for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So also 50 cents each!
  • Ajax Cleanser -- on sale 2 canisters for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So also 50 cents apiece.
  • Spring Toys -- priced at 99 cents each, plus on a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale.  So that means you can snag three for $1.98, or 66 cents apiece.
  • Hershey's Single Serve Candy Bars -- on sale for 69 cents each.
  • Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans -- on sale 2 bags for $4.  Stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon from the March coupon book with two 75 cents off Jolly Rancher coupons from the 3/22 Smartsource insert.  Your price drops to $1.50 for both bags, or 75 cents each!
  • PAAS Easter Egg Decorating Kits -- on sale for $1.99, with 1000 Balance Rewards points back towards a future transaction (like $1 in buying power.)  So that's a final price of 99 cents!
  • Glade Automatic Spray Starter Kit -- on sale for $4.99, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 3/8 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $1.99 out of pocket, and then you'll get your $1 in Register Rewards.  So your final price is just 99 cents!
  • Xtra Liquid Laundry Detergent -- on sale for $1.49 per 30-load bottle.  Buy two for $2.98, then use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 2/22 Smartsource insert.  Your price drops to $1.98 for both bottles, or 99 cents apiece.  That's a terrific price if you like this brand (or if you donate to your local homeless or animal shelter!)
  • Brut Deodorant -- on sale for $1.99 each.  Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 3/22 Smartsource insert, and pay 99 cents for yours.
  • Sure Deodorant -- also on sale for $1.99 apiece.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/22 Smartsource, and knock your price down to 99 cents.
  • Kleenex or Nice! Facial Tissue -- on sale for 99 cents per box with in-ad coupon.
  • Nice! Sandwich, Freezer, or Storage Bags -- on sale for 99 cents per box with in-ad coupon.
  • Sweetarts Jelly Beans -- on sale 2 bags for $4.  Stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon from the March coupon book with this $1 off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  That knocks your price down to a buck per bag.
  • Starburst or Life Savers Jellybeans -- also on sale 2 bags for $4.  Stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon from the March coupon book with the $1 off 2 coupon from the 3/15 Red Plum insert.  You'll also get these for a dollar apiece.
  • Purex Liquid Laundry Detergent or UltraPacks -- on sale for $1.99 per bag or bottle.  We may see a $1 off 2 coupon in the 3/22 Red Plum insert (I'm not sure yet if it will have size restrictions or not.)  If there aren't size restrictions, buy two bottles or bags for $2.98, or $1.49 apiece.  That's the best price I've seen on Purex so far in 2015!
  • Russell Stover or Whitman's Chocolate Bunnies -- on sale 2 for $3, which works out to $1.50 apiece.
  • Easter M&Ms -- on sale two bags for $5.  Stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon from the March coupon book with the $1 off 2 coupon from the 3/8 Red Plum insert.  Your price falls to $3 for both bags, or $1.50 apiece.
  • Planters Peanuts -- 16 oz jars on sale 2 for $6.  Stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon in the March coupon book with the $1 off 2 coupon arriving in the 3/22 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to $4 for both jars, or two bucks apiece.
  • Frozen Ground Beef -- on sale two 1 lb chub rolls for $5, which is like paying $2.50 apiece.  Must buy two to receive discount.
  • DiGiorno Pizzeria! Pizza -- on sale for $4.99 each.  Buy two for $9.98, then use this $2 off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  That knocks your price down to $7.98, or $3.99 each!
  • Arm & Hammer Cat Litter -- on sale for $5.49 per 14-lb box.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/1 Smartsource insert and get yours for $4.49 instead.
  • The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies -- on sale for $17.99 per DVD starting Tuesday, March 24.
  • Softsoap Liquid Hand Soap -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
