Check your Walgreeens mobile app for a POSSIBLE Spend $5, Get 5000 Balance Rewards points offer good through August 31, 2019.
Not everyone will receive this offer, but here's a deal on packs of ground beef available starting Sunday, August 25 to consider if you did:
- 80% Lean Fresh Ground Beef -- priced at $4.29 per pound, plus on BOGO sale starting Sunday, August 25.
- Buy four pounds for a pre-coupon price of $8.58.
- Enter your app info at checkout to apply your bonus points coupon.
- Pay $8.58 out of pocket, then receive your 5000 points (like $5 in buying power) to use on a future purchase.
- That's like a final price of $3.58 for all four pounds, or only 90 cents each!
Even if you didn't receive the 5000 bonus points offer (or already used it like I did), grabbing 2 pounds of 80% lean ground beef for $4.29 is still quite a nice score.
In that case, it works out to $2.15 per pack, and my local HEB sells these for $3.59 apiece. So still quite a lot of savings!
