Dollar General Ad 7/3: Best Fourth Of July Sales & Deals

Here are the best deals I spotted in the Dollar General ad for the special 3-day Fourth of July ad running 7/3 - 7/5/16.

If you plan to become a regular couponer at Dollar General, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.  
Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!  The policy updated back in December 2014, so you might need to print yourself a new copy.

• Ritz Crackers -- on sale for $2 per box.  Buy two for a pre-coupon price of $4, then use the 75 cents off 2 Nabisco coupon from the 6/26 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $3.25 out of pocket for both boxes, and then you can submit for the $2.50 off 2 Checkout 51 rebate.  So your final price drops to 75 cents for both boxes, or just 38 cents apiece!
• Lance Crackers -- 6-count packs on sale for $1 each, plus on a Buy 3 Get 1 Free sale.  So buy four for $3, then use this $1 off 2 coupon (most DG stores won't let you use a coupon on a free item, so only one coupon here.)  Your new price drops to $2 for all four packs, or 50 cents apiece!
• Kool-Aid or Tang -- 32 oz bottles on sale for $1 each, plus on a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale.  So buy three for $2, which works out to 67 cents apiece!
• French's Mustard -- 14 oz bottles on sale for 85 cents each.  
• Hunt's Ketchup -- 24 oz bottles on sale for 85 cents each.
• Kraft BBQ Sauce -- 18 oz bottles on sale for 85 cents each.
• Hershey's King-Size Candy Bars -- on sale 2 for $2, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  So that's a buck per bar!
• Reynolds Wrap -- 65 sq ft rolls of aluminum foil on sale 3 for $7, must buy in quantities of three to receive discount.  Use three of this 75 cents off coupon.  Your price drops to $4.75 for all three boxes, or just $1.58 each!
• Purex Laundry Detergent -- 50-load bottles on sale for $2.95 each.  Submit for this $1 Ibotta rebate and get yours for $1.95 instead.  NOTE: Check your SavingStar app for a possible $1 off rebate as well!
• Jolly Rancher Bites or Soft Chews -- 10 to 14 oz bags on sale for $2.50 each.  Buy two for $5 and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 6/26 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to $2 per bag.
• Lay's Potato Chips -- on sale 2 for $4 (normally $3.50 each), must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  So that's two bucks per bag!
• Coca-Cola 12-Packs -- on sale 3 for $8, must buy in quantities of three to receive discount.  So that works out to just $2.67 per 12-pack!  Limit six per transaction.
