Friday, June 3 is National Doughnut Day 2016, which means we have several food freebies to choose from that day!
I don't know about you, but I am happy to celebrate nearly any made-up food holiday imaginable, as long as it also brings me a free snack.
But I especially like National Doughnut Day due to its history -- it was actually founded back in 1938 by the Salvation Army, as a way to raise support and funds for needy Americans during the Great Depression.
