Small Business Saturday 2014: Get Up To $30 Back On Your Amex Statement

Here's great news for everyone who supports Small Business Saturday!  On November 29, 2014, American Express card holders can earn up to $30 back on their monthly statement just by shopping with local business owners.

You do have to register for your free statement rewards, so I suggest doing that promptly if you think you want to participate!

Here's more info about how Small Business Saturday 2014 works:

• Go here to register your card on the Amex Small Business Saturday microsite.
• Check out the Shop Small map to find participating local businesses near you.
• On Saturday, November 29, do your holiday shopping with those participating businesses.  Make any purchase worth $10 or more with your registered Amex.  You'll receive a $10 statement credit on your next bill.
• You can make up to three purchases worth $10 or more at participating businesses that day, and receive up to three $10 statement credits.  So that's basically $30 in free cash towards your shopping list!

If you are already finished up with your Christmas shopping, make sure to check the Shop Small map for dining options near you -- I had a whopping 87 local restaurants participating near me!  (And even a locally-owned grocery chain, which means I could even go stock up my pantry for free!)
