Red Bull Class Action Settlement October 2014: $10 Refund Or $15 In Product

Have you purchased Red Bull anytime from January 1, 2002 and October 3, 2014?

If so, you're eligible to receive your choice of a $10 check or $15 in free Red Bull product, as part of a recently settled class action lawsuit.
Red Bull this week agreed to pay out $13 million to address class action claims of deceptive and fraudulent advertising.

The class action charged that Red Bull's claims of increasing concentration and reaction times weren't scientifically based.  Red Bull admits no wrong-doing by settling the suit.

No proof of purchase is necessary to obtain settlement benefits.

However, the Claim Form must be signed by you under penalty of perjury (either by hand or, if you submit it online, electronically), affirming that you are a qualified member of the Settlement Class and that the information provided therein is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Also, you must submit your claim no later than March 2, 2015 to receive either your $10 check or your $15 worth of free energy drinks.

I've noticed a pattern of companies putting their products on steep discounts after settling a class action lawsuit -- so I bet if we watch closely, we will see coupons, sales, or rebates available for Red Bull products in the near future!
