Dollar General Ad 9/14: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best deals I spotted in the Dollar General ad for September 14 - 21, 2014.  

If you plan to become a regular couponer here, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.

Best deals in the 9/14 Dollar General ad

• Cesar Dog Food -- on sale for 70 cents per tray.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 8/24 Red Plum insert (this was regional, so not everyone will have received it.)  Your new price drops to just 20 cents per tray!

• Halloween or Harvest Partyware -- on sale for $1 each.  Includes packs of plates, napkins, greeting cards, pot holders, kitchen towels, and more.
