Here are a few hot deals I spotted in the La Fiesta ad for August 6 - 12, 2014.

If you're not familiar with this mini-chain, they have roughly 10 locations scattered around the south and west sides of San Antonio.

  • Small Sweet Valencia Oranges -- on sale for 34 cents each.
  • Eckrich Smoked Sausage -- on sale for $2.50 each.  Use this $2 off coupon (points required) and pay 50 cents for yours.
  • John Morrell Smoked Sausage -- on sale for $1.29 each.  Buy three and use this $2 off 3 coupon (hosted on Hopster; must complete activities.)  That knocks your price down to 62 cents per pack!

  • Buy any 4 participating General Mills products, receive a FREE Gallon of Milk with in-ad coupon.  This coupon is good from August 6 - 19 on products like Totino's Pizza Rolls, Nature Valley Granola Bars, Go-Gurt, and more.  Check your coupon binder for assorted coupons on these brands from the 8/3 Smartsource!  Here's the deal I recommend: Buy four boxes of Go-Gurt or Yoplait Kids Yogurt, each priced at $1.69 each for a pre-coupon price of $6.76.  Stack two $1 off 2 coupons from the 8/3 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $4.76 for all four boxes, plus receive your free gallon of milk.  So that works out to just 95 cents per item!
  • Chicken Thighs or Drumsticks -- on sale for 99 cents per pound in value-pack sizing.
