Here's how the math works out:

• Gain Dryer Sheets -- 20-count boxes priced at $1 each.
• Use the $1 off coupon from the 8/10 Red Plum insert.
• Your box is free!

Fair warning: the language of this coupon is probably going to confuse some cashiers.  I know I was confused originally on what the heck a "fabric enhancer" was!

However, a little bit of research on the Gain Facebook page turned this up:

Basically, Gain's position is that this coupon CAN be used for dryer sheets -- however, any given store can decline to accept the coupon if they choose to.

So it just depends on whether you feel lucky or know you have coupon-friendly cashiers at your local Dollar Tree!  If you are a couponer who is reluctant to push back on cashiers who decline coupons, I probably wouldn't recommend this deal for you.

Also keep in mind that Dollar Tree inventory really varies from store to store!  However, I saw an entire endcap of these in my local store this week.
