Here are the best sales and coupon deals I spotted in the Target ad for May 11 - 17, 2014. 

Before you prep your shopping list, make sure you read the changes to the Target coupon policy, so you won't have any nasty surprises at checkout.

Best deals in the 5/11 Target ad

  • Birds Eye Steam Fresh Vegetables -- on sale for $1 per bag.  If you have the 50 cents off coupon from the 4/13 Smartsource insert (this was regional), your new price drops to 50 cents per bag.
  • Market Pantry Pasta Sauce -- priced at $1 per jar.  Buy three and use this $1.50 off 3 coupon.  Your new price drops to 50 cents per jar.
  • Market Pantry Pasta -- priced at $1 per box.  Buy three boxes and use this $1 off 3 coupon.  That drops your price down to 67 cents per box.
  • Market Pantry Frozen Vegetables -- on sale for 80 cents each.
  • Fruitwater or Vitaminwater -- on sale for 80 cents each.
  • Room Essentials Solar Pathway Lights -- on sale for $1 each.  Choose from stainless steel, black, or brown.
  • Room Essentials Plastic Hangers -- 10-count packs on sale for $1 each.
  • Coffee-mate Liquid Creamer -- on sale 2 for $3.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon and drop your price down to a buck per bottle.
  • Gala or Granny Smith Apples -- 3 lb bags on sale for $3 each.  So that's $1 per pound.
  • Zarbee's Naturals Seasonal Relief -- 10-count box on sale for $8 per box, with a free $5 Target gift card when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two for $16, then use two $3 off coupons.  So that drops your price down to $10 for both, and then you receive your $5 Target gift card.  Next, submit for the $2 Ibotta rebate.  So your final price drops to $3 for both, or $1.50 per box.
  • Kellogg's Eggo Frozen Products -- on sale for $2 per box.  Buy two and use the 75 cents off 2 coupon from the 4/6 Red Plum insert.  Your new price drops to $1.63 per box instead.
  • Flip-Flops -- on sale Buy 1 for $2.50, Get 1 for $1.  So that's two pairs for $3.50, or $1.75 per pair.
  • Herbal Essences Shampoo, Conditioner or Styling Products -- on sale for $4 each.  Buy two and use the $3 off 2 coupon from the 5/11 P&G insert.  Your new price drops to $2.50 per bottle.
  • Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Lunch Meat -- on sale for $3 each.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 4/6 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to $2.50 per pack.
  • Philips Extra Bass In-Ear Headphones -- on sale Buy 1 for $7.99, Get 1 for $1.  So that's two for $8.99, or $4.50 apiece.
  • Beach Totes -- on sale for $5 each, down from $9.99.
  • Sunglasses -- on sale for $5 each, down from $7.99 per pair.
  • All Bagged Coffee -- on Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale.  No prices listed in ad, but if you like Starbucks coffee, use the $2 off 2 coupon from the 4/13 Smartsource insert to drop your price even lower.
  • Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini -- on sale for $10 with trade-in of any smartphone and new two-year service agreement.
  • Pampers Diapers -- on sale for $25 per Super Pack, with a free $10 Target gift card back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two and use two of this $1.50 off coupon (sort by Baby & Toddler to find it fast.)  After coupons and gift card, your price drops to $18.50 per Super Pack.
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 -- on sale for $99 with trade-in of any smartphone and new two-year activation agreement.
