CVS Deals: Snag Six Free Speed Sticks After Coupons Starting January 19

Wow!  CVS shoppers have an opportunity to stockpile a whole bunch of free Speed Stick deodorant beginning Sunday, January 19.

In fact, after coupons and Extra Bucks, you could walk away with a whopping six tubes of Speed Stick or Lady Speed Stick deodorant for free!

Here's how the math works out:

• Speed Stick or Lady Speed Stick Deodorant -- on sale for $1.99 each, with $6 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $12 or more.
• So buy six tubes for a pre-coupon price of $11.94.  CVS rounds up when you are within 25 cents of an Extra Bucks deal, so this will still trigger your Extra Bucks!
• Use three BOGO coupons arriving in the 1/19 Smartsource.  
• That drops your price down to $5.97 out of pocket, plus you'll still have your $6 in Extra Bucks to use on a future transaction.
• So all six are essentially free!

I haven't yet seen the BOGO coupon, but my guess is that it will have a limit of two like coupons to be used per transaction.  So be prepared to have to split up your purchases, and buy four deodorants in one purchase, and two in the second.

Also, I bet the shelves will clear out pretty quickly as word of this deal spreads -- so now might be a good time to check with your CVS store manager and ask them to place a special order for you.
