I only buy laundry detergent when this sale rolls around, because after sale and coupons, you can usually stock up for 75% off the regular price.
Here's how the math works out:
- Purex laundry detergent or Ultra Packs -- on a Buy 1, get 2 FREE sale November 17 - 23, 2013. Usually Purex is priced at around $5.99 per bottle normally at Walgreens, although the price isn't featured in the ad this week.
- S buy six for a pre-coupon price of $11.98, then use three $1.50 off 2 Purex coupons (requires multiple computers; sort by Household to find the coupon fast.) You may also be able to use this $1 off Purex coupon if you can print it before it disappears!
- Your price drops to $7.48 for all six bottles, which works out to $1.25 per bottle. If you like the Ultra Packs like I do, that's just 6 cents per load -- and more than 75% off the regular price!
If you only have access to one computer, you could do this deal instead.
- Buy three for an estimated pre-coupon price of $5.99, then use one $1.50 off 2 coupon.
- Your price falls to $4.49 for all three bottles, or $1.50 per bottle. Also an excellent price!
I can pretty much guarantee that the Purex coupons will hit their print limit before this sale rolls around, so please don't wait to print them.
