Well, it looks like more and more chains are caving to peer pressure and launching their Black Friday sales in stores on Thanksgiving night.
In addition to JCPenney, Macy's, and Kohl's, Office Max has now announced they will be open beginning at 8pm on Thursday, November 28 and stay open straight through Black Friday itself.
Office Max is employing a tiered wave of sales throughout that time span -- with the first round of deals scheduled at open, a second round of deals at 11pm, and a third and final round launching at 5am on Black Friday itself.
We have no word yet on what kind of doorbusters Office Max plans to promote to know if this complicated sales promotion will be worth factoring into our Black Friday plans. Hopefully they will have some good deals on e-readers, tablets, and laptops to make this worthwhile!
