Would you make soup in your K-Cup coffeemaker? Campbell's is betting you will -- starting sometime in 2014, the company plans to roll out soup-on-the-go available in K-Cup packaging.
No word on the price point yet, but I can guarantee these will be more expensive than the canned versions of Campbell's soup, which can often be found on sale for 50 cents or so -- and each can includes two servings.
According to the Associated Press, Campbell's will have at least three flavors available, including the classic Chicken Broth & Noodle.
The noodle & seasoning mix will be packaged in a separate packet, which diners will open into their bowl or cup. The broth itself will be in the K-Cup that users will pop into their Keurig machine.
What do you think? Would you try this product, or is microwaving a bowl of soup fast enough for you? I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Wouldn't your coffee taste like soup afterwards?
ReplyDeleteI would work perfectly since it is a Keurig product...no aftertaste same as with tea and hot chocolate.
