From May 23 - June 16, Old Navy shoppers can earn $10 cash back on every $25 they spend in stores -- then they can return beginning June 20 to spend their Super Cash. That means you can save even more on this weekend's Memorial Day sales!
I am not normally a huge fan of the Old Navy Super Cash promotion, because:
You have to spend a minimum of $25 in order to use every $10 in Super Cash. So say you spend $25 at Old Navy, and earn $10 in Super Cash. You will need to come back at the end of June and spend an additional $25 to use that $10 bounceback coupon.
So you will be paying $40 out of pocket for $50 worth of product between both transactions -- which is an overall savings of 20% off.
That's a decent discount, but just be prepared that you will have to spend that amount of money at a minimum in order to use your Super Cash.
My other issue is:
You can't combine your Super Cash with Groupons or other coupons. You know I like stacking discounts whenever possible! However, you can usually use Super Cash on sale and some clearance priced items -- and of course, if you shop this weekend, you're earning them on top of Memorial Day sale pricing.
If you're bound and determined to shop the Old Navy Super Cash promotion, though, I do have two tips that will help you save a spot more money:
- Buy a discounted gift card from Plastic Jungle or another card resale site to use on your Super Cash buys. You can often score $100 Old Navy gift cards for as low as $80 through resale websites, which is an additional 20% savings.
- Shop with a coupon. You can't use a Old Navy coupon when you redeem the Super Cash, but you can use a coupon to earn the Super Cash, which makes your dollars stretch further. There's a current 10% off Old Navy coupon available to print on the ON Facebook page.
FYI i did learn today that the Outlets DO give super cash! so, our bargains we got yesterday, even better! They are mailing me $30 super cash! He said he remembered me and just slipped up.
