Here are the best deals I spotted in the Sprouts Farmers Market ad for April 24 - May 1, 2013.

Don't forget that Wednesdays are the best days to shop, since you have access to last week's sales as well as the new deals that start.

Best deals in the 4/24 Sprouts ad

  • Florida-grown yellow corn -- on sale for 25 cents per ear!  This is the best price we will see through July 4, so stock up (and yes, you can totally freeze corn on the cob.)
  • Farm fresh chicken leg quarters -- on sale for 69 cents per pound in value-pack sizing.
  • Green beans -- on sale for 88 cents per pound.
  • Celery -- on sale for 88 cents per bunch.
  • Zucchini or yellow squash -- on sale for 88 cents per pound.
  • Fuji, Cameo, or Red Delicious apples -- on sale for 99 cents per pound.
  • Davidson's Safest Choice cage-free eggs -- on sale for $2.50 per dozen.  Use this 75 cents off coupon and pay $1.75 for yours.  Note: these eggs are pasteurized, so I buy this brand whenever I'm baking so the cookie or cake dough can be safely tasted!
  • Pitted prunes -- on sale for $1.99 per pound.
  • Glutino Genius bread -- on sale for $2.99 per loaf.  Use this 55 cents off coupon and get yours for $2.44.
  • Rudi's sandwich bread -- assorted varieties on sale for $3.50 per loaf.  Use this $1 off coupon and pay $2.50 instead.
  • Ready to eat mac and cheese -- on sale for $3.99 per pound.
