Earth Day Deals 2013: Score GreenWorks Electric Mower For Just $45

Pep Boys electric lawnmower
Here is an amazing opportunity to snag a brand-new electric lawnmower for under $50, courtesy of Pep Boys and CPS Energy!

Right now, Pep Boys is offering huge trade-in deals to anyone who brings in a gas-powered mower and wants to upgrade to an electric lawnmower.

And at the same time, CPS Energy is offering San Antonio residents up to $60 back in rebates when they purchase new electric lawn equipment!

So here's a deal I found:

  • Trade in your old gas-powered mower for this new GreenWorks 3-in-1 mower seen in the photo.  It's normally $229.99, but after your trade, Pep Boys will sell it to you for just $75.
  • Then submit for a $30 rebate from CPS Energy, as part of the Mow Down Smog program.
  • Your final cost out of pocket is just $45!
If you don't need the power of an electric lawnmower, you could also get a free push reel mower from Pep Boys with a trade-in -- so if you have a smaller lawn, that could be a great choice too!
