Haven For Hope Hygiene Supplies Drive February 2013

The Center for Health Care Services is hosting a hygiene supplies donation drive for Haven for Hope from now through March 22, 2013.

They are looking for donations of basic hygiene supplies to pass out to residents of Prospects Courtyard, which is an outdoor sleeping area that provides temporary shelter for the homeless of San Antonio.


Half of the people at Prospects Courtyard every night are kids aged 8 and under.  That's just heartbreaking to me.




Donations can be dropped off at the CHCS Zarzamora Clinic, located at 806 S. Zarzamora San Antonio, TX 78207.  To schedule a donation drop-off, email Vanessa Valles or Veronica Morales.

• Natural Dentist alcohol-free mouth rinse -- free at Walgreens through February 23.
• Arrid XX Dry deodorant -- on sale for 99 cents each with in-ad coupon through February 23.  If the aerosol is included, you can stack this 25 cents off coupon and get yours for just 74 cents.
• Purell hand sanitizer -- as low as 75 cents each beginning Sunday, February 24.

Walmart

• Gold Bond Ultimate Healing lotion -- travel-sized tubes for free after coupon.
• Poise feminine hygiene wipes -- free after coupon.
• Assorted Tena products -- free after coupon.
• Nivea body lotion -- 72 cents per tube after coupon.
• Nivea for Men body wash -- priced at $2.92 each.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 2/10 Red Plum insert (expires 2/24) and pay 92 cents instead.
