Spring is almost here, which means it's time to freshen up your cosmetics bag! Luckily, we can score up to $25 worth of free Physicians Formula Youthful Wear makeup at CVS through February 16, 2013.
CVS has all brands of their Physicians Formula on sale for 50% off through Saturday, but here's how you can load up for free:
First things first -- scan your Extra Care card at the CVS coupon center to see if you get a $4 off $12 coupon good on any cosmetics.
If you do, great! If not, it's not necessary to snag your freebies.
Next, look for specially-marked packages of Physicians Formula Youthful Wear with a 'Try Me Free' label on the front. The labels will be bright pink, like in the photo above.
Those specially marked packages trigger a rebate -- you can get $5 back when you buy one, $10 back for buying two, or a whopping $25 back when you buy three!
So here's how the deal worked for me:

So here's how the deal worked for me:
- Physicians Formula Youthful Wear makeup -- multiple items on sale for $6.49 each, which is half off the regular price of $12.99.
- Buy three for a pre-coupon price of $19.47. If you receive the $4 off $12 CVS coupon, your price out of pocket drops to $15.47.
- Now you can submit for this $25 Physicians Formula rebate to get completely reimbursed for your purchase! It's possible that this could be up to a $9.53 money-maker if you get a full $25 check -- I'm not sure if they will adjust the price of the rebate down or not.
Not all stores will have the specially marked packages, and I know some of you don't like doing rebates even when they are for free items. So here's the math for two items and no rebate:
- Buy two pieces of Youthful Wear cosmetics for $12.99.
- Use the $4 off $12 CVS coupon.
- Your new price is $8.99 for both -- or $4.50 each. That's still roughly 75% off the original price!
I've also seen $3 off peelie coupons recently for Physicians Formula cosmetics at CVS, so be sure to look around and see what other deals you can put together with the sale and your CVS coupon.

Just FYI - The rebate is only good on certain Physician Formula items
ReplyDeleteCorrect -- the rebate is ONLY good on the Physicians Formula Youthful Wear cosmetics, and you have to have the Try Me Free labels in order to submit it.
DeleteYou must also submit 3 of the "Earn up to $25" pealies to receive the rebate.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any of the "Earn up to $25" peelies, I went to 4 stores and still haven't found any. I haven't seen any Try Me Free lables either, could it be they aren't available anymore? If any one has any extra, maybe you could send me 3.
