I have huge news for devoted Target shoppers -- after testing an online price-matching program over the holidays, the company has now decided to make it a permanent addition to their price-matching policy!
That means if you find a cheaper price on something Target carries in its stores online -- at Amazon, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, or somewhere else -- you can purchase the item for that lower price in your neighborhood Target store.
Target's online price-matching policy even extends to items that are currently out of stock on Target.com, which the test program did not offer over the holidays.
You can price match before buying an item -- just take proof of the lower online price to the Target Guest Services department -- or you can get a refund if you buy something at Target and then find the lower price online.
Keep in mind that the online site has to be offering an identical product and size in order to be eligible for price matching.
