Bayer Settles $15 Million Class Action Lawsuit: Refunds Available For Customers

If you've bought Bayer products in the last several years, you may be eligible for a refund on your purchases as part of a $15 million class action settlement recently approved.

Bayer has agreed to settle with consumers who purchased Bayer Heart Health Advantage between 2008 and 2012, as well as with consumers who purchased Bayer Women's Low-Dose aspirin Plus Calcium between 2000 and 2012.

Consumers with proof of purchase could receive up to $6 back per purchase, and shoppers who bought these products but no longer have receipts could receive a one-time payment of between $4 and $6.

According to the Top Class Actions website:
Plaintiffs in the Bayer combination aspirin class action lawsuit claim these products should not have been sold, because these products were not FDA-approved, could not provide all advertised health benefits and were inappropriate for long-term use. As a result of Bayer’s alleged conduct, consumers were overcharged for the combination aspirin products, the class action lawsuit asserts.
Bayer admits no wrong-doing in agreeing to the class action lawsuit settlement.

If you've purchased these products, be sure submit a claim via the Bayer settlement website no later than April 29, 2012.
