Dollar General Ad 11/1: Best Deals In 3-Day Ad

Here are the best deals I spotted in the special 3-day Dollar General ad for November 1 - 3, 2015.

If you plan to become a regular couponer at Dollar General, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.  

Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!  The policy updated in December 2014, so you might need to print yourself a new copy.


Best deals in the 11/1 Dollar General 3-day ad

• Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheets, Corn Pops, or Apple Jacks -- on sale for $1.85 per box.  Use this $1 off coupon (points required) and pay 85 cents per box.  If you have enough points, you could buy two for boxes for $1.70, then submit for the 75 cents off 2 Mobisave rebate running through 11/2.  Your final price drops to just 95 cents for both boxes, or a mere 48 cents per box!
• Betty Crocker Cookie Mix -- on sale for $1 per pouch, plus on a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale.  So snag 3 pouches for just $2, which works out to 67 cents apiece.  No coupons needed!
• Crush, Sierra Mist, Mtn Dew Code Red, or Mtn Dew Voltage 2-Liters -- on sale for 75 cents apiece.
• Campbell's Chunky Soup -- on sale for $1.65 each, plus on a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale.  So buy three for a pre-coupon price of $3.30, then use this 40 cents off 2 coupon.  Your price drops to $2.90 for all three cans, or just 97 cents apiece.  Great price for this brand!
• Pine-Sol -- on sale for $1.50, down from $2.
• Clover Valley Bottled Water -- 24-count packs on sale for $2.50 (normally $3.50.)  That works out to a dime per bottle, which is my recommended stockpile price on bottled water.
• Sun Laundry Detergent -- 84 to 100-load bottles on BOGO sale 2 for $5.  That works out to just $2.50 per bottle, or as low as 2.5 cents per load!  Another great price for this brand!
• Maxwell House Coffee -- on sale for $3 per can, down from $3.95.
• Gildan Men's T-Shirts -- on sale 3 for $10 (must buy three to receive discount) down from $5 apiece.  So that works out to $3.34 per tee!
• Scott Choose-A-Sheet Paper Towels -- on sale for $5.95 per pack, down from $7.25.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 10/11 Smartsource insert and pay $5.20 for yours.
• Scott 1000 Toilet Paper -- 9-count pack also on sale for $5.95 per pack, down from $7.25.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 10/11 Smartsource insert and pay $5.20 for yours.
