Here are the best sales and coupon deals I spotted in the Target ad for August 2 - 8, 2015.

Texas shoppers, remember that Tax Free weekend is August 7 - 9 this year!  So I recommend shopping these deals on either Friday or Saturday for the best prices.

Before you prep your shopping list, make sure you read the changes to the Target coupon policy, so you won't have any nasty surprises at checkout.

Best deals in the 8/2 Target ad
  • Spend $25 or more on School Supplies, get a FREE $5 Target gift card -- clip the in-ad coupon or text SCHOOL to 827438 to receive a mobile version (good beginning Sunday, August 2.)
  • Save $5 off any 3 or more Fruit of the Loom Items -- clip the in-ad coupon or text BASICS to 827438 to receive a mobile version (good beginning Sunday, August 2.)
  • Sharpie Tank Highlighters -- 3-count packs on sale 2 for $2 (must buy two to receive discount.)  Use two 75 cents off coupons from the 7/26 Smartsource inserts and pay a quarter per pack!
