From April 27 through May 3, 2014, you can score $5 back for a future Dollar General purchase when you spend $20 or more on any P&G brands, including but not limited to Tide, Charmin, Pampers, Ivory, Gillette, and more.
Keep in mind that your $20 must be after all discounts and coupons are applied in order to trigger the $5 bounceback coupon.
So here are a few ideas to mix and match this week:
- Ivory Soap -- 3-count bars on sale for $1.25. Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 4/27 P&G insert and pick them up for 75 cents per pack. That works out to a quarter per bar, which is a good deal even without the $5 bounceback coupon.
- Old Spice Shampoo -- on sale for $4 each. Use the $2 off coupon from the 3/30 P&G insert (expires 4/30) and grab yours for two bucks instead.
- Pampers Baby Dry Diapers -- jumbo packs on sale for $9 each. Use this $1.50 off coupon (sort by Baby & Toddler to find it fast) and pay $7.50 for yours.
- Charmin Basic -- 20-count packs of double rolls on sale for $9.45 each. Use this 75 cents off coupon (sort by Household to find it fast) and get yours for $8.70 per pack.
Here's the deal I would recommend:
- Buy two packs of Charmin Basic, one bottle of Old Spice Shampoo, and one 3-count pack of Ivory Soap for a pre-coupon price of $24.15.
- Use two of the 75 cents off Charmin Basic coupons, the $2 off Old Spice coupon, and the 50 cents off Ivory coupon.
- That drops your post-coupon price to $20.15, which will trigger your $5 bounceback coupon.
- So your final price is like paying $15.15 for all four items. That's like paying $7.58 per pack of Charmin (which works out to 19 cents per regular size roll) and getting the Old Spice and Ivory for free!
