Walgreens Ad 4/17: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for April 17 - 23, 2016!

Walgreens is slightly quirky with their policies, so you'll want to be fully prepped before you hit the store.



Best deals in the April 17 Walgreens ad

• Snickers Crisper Candy -- click here to see how you can grab a FREE bag!
• Almay Cosmetics -- on BOGO 50% off sale.  No prices listed in the ad, but the Walgreens site lists the Almay Eye Makeup Remover Liquid or Pads for $5.79 each.  If you find that price in stores, buy two for a pre-coupon price of $8.69, then use two $4 off coupons from the 4/10 Smartsource inserts.  Your price drops to 69 cents for both, or just 35 cents each!  NOTE: I recommend you have your Walgreens coupon policy pulled up on your phone or printed and ready to show for this deal, as well as the CoverGirl deal below.  Some cashiers have a tendency to confuse BOGO deals and BOGO 50% off deals, but since you are paying for both items in a BOGO 50% off deal, you should be able to use two coupons.  (This falls under #16 in the policy.)
• M&Ms -- single serve bags on sale for 59 cents each!
• Nabisco Cookies and Crackers -- 3.5 oz to 6.5 oz boxes on sale for 99 cents each.  Buy two for $1.98, then use the 75 cents off coupon from the 3/20 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $1.23 for both boxes, or 62 cents per box!
• CoverGirl Cosmetics -- on BOGO 50% off sale.  No prices listed in the ad, but the Walgreens website lists the CG BrowMakers for $4.99 each.  If you find that price in store, buy two for a pre-coupon price of $7.49, then use two $3 off coupons from the 4/10 Red Plum inserts.  You'll pay $1.49 for both, or 75 cents each!
• Campbell's Soup -- on sale for 89 cents per can with in-ad coupon.
• Smile & Save Paper Plates -- on sale for 99 cents per pack with in-ad coupon.
• Colgate Toothpaste Twin Packs -- on sale for $5.99, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 4/17 Smartsource insert.  Pay $3.99 out of pocket, then get your $2 back in Register Rewards.  Your price falls to $1.99 for your multi-pack!
• Jif Peanut Butter or Smucker's Strawberry Spread -- on sale 2 for $4, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.
• Purina Beneful Brand Dog Food -- on sale 2 bags for $10, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  Use the BOGO coupon from the 2/28 Smartsource insert and grab two bags for $5.  That's just $2.50 per bag!
• All Laundry Detergent -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 4/17 Red Plum insert and pay even less for yours.
• Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Fabuloso Cleaner -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Suavitel Fabric Softener -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Soft Scrub -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use this $1 off coupon and get yours for an even better deal!
• Softsoap Body Wash -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
