CVS Deals: All Laundry Detergent $1.17 Per Bottle (3.5 Cents Per Load!)

Here's a HOT deal to look forward to at CVS on bottles of All Liquid Laundry Detergent!

Starting Sunday, August 2, we should be able to pick bottles up for around $1.17 each after all discounts.

That's almost 70% off shelf price, and it works out to just under four cents per load!

Here's how the math works out:

  • All Liquid Laundry Detergent -- 26 to 33 load bottles on sale for $3.50 each, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $20 or more.
  • Buy six bottles for a pre-coupon price of $21.
  • Use six of this $1.50 off coupon (sort by Household to find it fast; multiple devices required.)
  • Those coupons take $9 off your purchase.
  • So you'll pay $12 out of pocket for all six bottles, and then you'll get your $5 back in Extra Bucks.
  • That's like paying $7 for all six bottles, or just $1.17 each!  So if you buy the 33-load bottles, your price per load works out to 3.5 pennies each.
NOTE: Keep in mind that I think some CVS stores may fuss about this coupon.  According to the CVS coupon policy, stores "will not accept third party manufacturers’ coupons with another retailer’s logo."

While this coupon doesn't print with a logo on it, it does print with the 'Available at Walmart' tag on it.

Now I think those are two very different things -- but I strongly recommend you come prepared with the CVS coupon policy pulled up on your phone, just in case your cashier does not want to take the coupon.  You can find the updated policy here for easy reference.

If you get anxious about it, there is a slightly-less-great-but-still-really-good version of this deal you can do:
  • Buy six bottles for a pre-coupon price of $21.
  • Use three $2 off 2 coupons arriving in the 8/2 Red Plum insert.
  • Pay $15 out of pocket, then get your $5 back in Extra Bucks.
  • Your final price drops to $10 for all six bottles, or just $1.67 per bottle.  That's still just a nickel per load of laundry!
Thanks to Marie Anne, Heidi, and other readers who helped me work on this deal today!
