Walgreens Ad 7/5: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for July 5 - 11, 2015!

Best back to school deals in the 7/5 Walgreens ad

• Wexford 2 Pocket Paper Folders -- on sale 5 for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So that's like 20 cents each!
• Wexford Erasers -- twin-packs on sale 5 for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So also 20 cents apiece!
• Wexford Pencil Cap Erasers -- 15-count packs on sale 5 for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So also 20 cents each!
• Wexford School Glue -- on sale for 39 cents per bottle with in-ad coupon.
• Wexford Index Cards -- on sale for 39 cents per pack with in-ad coupon.
• Wexford Pencil Sharpeners -- on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• Wexford #2 Pencils -- 20-count packs on sale for 99 cents each.
• Wexford Binders -- on sale for 99 cents apiece.
• Backpacks -- on sale for $3.99 apiece.

Best deals in the 7/5 Walgreens ad

• Colgate Optic White Mouthwash -- 8 oz bottles on sale for $3.49, with $2 in Register Rewards.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 6/28 Smartsource insert.  You'll spend $1.49 out of pocket, and then you'll get your $2 in Register Rewards.  So that's a final price of FREE, plus 51 cents profit on your transaction!
• Butterball Chicken Broth -- on sale 2 cans for $1 with in-ad coupon, which works out to 50 cents apiece.
• Gevalia Iced Coffee -- on sale 2 for $4 with in-ad coupon, plus 1000 Balance Reward points back (like $1 in buying power) when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two, then stack the in-ad coupon with two of this $1 off coupon (sort by Beverages to find it fast.)  You'll pay $2 for two out of pocket, and then you'll get your $1 in buying power for a future transaction.  So that's like a final price of $1 for two, or just 50 cents each!
• Hunt's Tomato Sauce -- on sale 2 cans for $1 with in-ad coupon, which works out to 50 cents each.
• Powerade, Smartwater, or Vitaminwater -- on sale 3 for $3, with 3000 Balance Reward points back (like $3 in buying power) when you buy $10 or more in a single transaction.  So buy 10 for $10, and then receive your $3 in buying power for a future transaction.  That's like a final price of $7 for all 10 bottles, or just 70 cents each!

• Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash or Toothpaste -- on sale 3 for $9, with $3 back in Register Rewards when you buy three in the same transaction.  Use the $3 off 3 coupon from the 7/5 P&G insert and pay a final price of $1 apiece after all discounts!
