Arm & Hammer Class Action Settlement: $20 Back On Select Purchases

It's time to check your stockpile -- if you have purchased Arm & Hammer Essentials Deodorant in the past, you may be able to submit for up to $20 in reimbursements as part of a new class action lawsuit settlement.

The class action lawsuit charges that Arm & Hammer Essentials Deodorant was marketed as a 'natural' product when it in fact had chemicals and other man-made ingredients in it.

Arm & Hammer isn't admitting any wrong-doing but has agreed to settle the lawsuit with a mass payment of $1.5 million.

The proposed settlement will pay a cash refund of $4 per deodorant to eligible class members who purchased the Essentials™ deodorant with the Old Label for personal use, and not for re-sale.

The maximum reimbursement without receipts is for $20, or a total of five deodorants.  If you have receipts for your purchases, you can provide them to receive reimbursement for more than five units of Essentials™  deodorant with Old Label purchased.

Either way, in order to be reimbursed you'll need to submit your claim form no later than September 2, 2015.
