Target Ad 12/28: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best sales and coupon deals I spotted in the Target ad for December 28, 2014 through January 3, 2015.  

Before you prep your shopping list, make sure you read the changes to the Target coupon policy, so you won't have any nasty surprises at checkout.

Best deals in the 12/28 Target ad

• Save $5 off $25 Storage & Organization Purchase with in-ad coupon -- or text STORAGE to 827438 to receive a mobile version of your coupon beginning December 28!
• Starkist Tuna -- on sale for 99 cents per pouch, plus on a Buy 5 Get 1 Free sale.  So buy six for $4.95, and if Starkist Gourmet Selects are included, use the $1 off coupon from the November 2014 issue of All You.  Your new price drops as low as $3.95 for all six pouches, or just 66 cents apiece.
• Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate -- on sale for $1.09 per box.  Buy three for $3.27, then use the $1 off 3 coupon from the 11/9 Smartsource insert.  That drops your price to $2.27 for all three boxes, or just 76 cents per box.
• Campbell’s Homestyle Soup -- on sale for $1.50 per can.  Buy two and use this $1 off 2 coupon.  Your new price drops to a buck per can.
• All 2-Liters Of Soda -- on sale 5 for $5, or $1.25 if you buy less than five at a time.
• Head & Shoulders Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale for $4.99, with a free $5 Target gift card back when you buy four bottles in the same transaction.  So buy four for a pre-coupon price of $19.96, then use two $3 off 2 coupons from the 11/30 P&G inserts (expires 12/31.)  You'll pay $13.96 out of pocket, and then you'll receive your $5 Target gift card.  So your final price drops to $8.96 for all four bottles, or just $2.24 each!  Don't forget we also have a $15 off $50 P&G Beauty Rebate that's running through December 31.
• Pantene Shampoo or Conditioner  -- on sale for $4.99, with a free $5 Target gift card back when you buy four bottles in the same transaction.  So buy four for a pre-coupon price of $19.96, then stack the $5 off 3 coupon from the 11/30 P&G inserts with the 5% off Cartwheel discount (good through December 28 only.)  You'll pay $13.96 out of pocket, and then you'll receive your $5 Target gift card.  So that's again $8.96 for all four bottles, or just $2.24 each.

• DiGiorno Original Frozen Pizza -- on sale 2 for $10.  Buy three and use this B2G1 Free coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  That knocks your price down to 3 for $10, or $3.34 per pizza.
• $5 DVD Movies -- select films on sale Buy 3 Get 1 Free.  So that's four DVDs for $15, or $3.75 per film!
• California Pizza Kitchen Frozen Pizza -- on sale for $5 each.  Use this $1 off coupon (sort by Food to find it fast) and grab yours for $4 instead.
• Purina Tidy Cats -- 35 lb pails on sale for $11.99, with a free $5 Target gift card back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two for a pre-coupon price of $23.98, then use the $5 Target gift card coupon from the 12/14 Smartsource insert.  You'll get $10 in gift cards back -- which means your final price is $13.98 for both pails.  That works out to $6.99 each!
• Hormel Party Tray -- on sale for $11.98.  Use this $3 off coupon (sort by Food to find it fast) and grab yours for $8.98 instead.
• Flintstones Vitamins Gummies -- 180-count bottles on sale for $12.99 each, with a free $10 Target gift card back when you buy three in the same transaction.  So buy three for $38.97, then use three $1 off coupons from the 11/9 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $35.97, then you'll snag your $10 Target gift card -- AND you can submit for the $5 off $25 SavingStar rebate.  So your final price is $20.97 for all three big bottles, or just $6.99 each!
