Target Ad 12/14: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best sales and coupon deals I spotted in the Target ad for December 14 - 20, 2014. 


Before you prep your shopping list, make sure you read the changes to the Target coupon policy, so you won't have any nasty surprises at checkout.

Best deals in the 12/14 Target ad

  • Save $3 off any Dry Baking Essentials of $10 or more -- or text BAKE to 827438 to receive a mobile version of the coupon starting Sunday, December 14!
  • Keurig K-Cup Packs -- Buy any three 16-count or 18-count boxes, snag a free $5 Target gift card at checkout.  There's no prices listed in the ad for this, but there is a $1 CartSmart rebate on 18-count boxes of K-Cups (limit 2 per account.)  If you're not familiar with CartSmart, I wrote a short how-to guide about the app here.
  • Tricuits -- on sale for $2 per box, but go here to see how you can pay just a dime for yours!
  • Del Monte Vegetables -- on sale for 59 cents per can.  Buy four cans for a pre-coupon price of $2.36, then use the 10% off Cartwheel offer along with the 40 cents off 4 coupon from the 11/19 Smartsource.  Your new price drops to $1.72 for all four cans, or just 43 cents each!
  • Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix -- on sale for $1.89 per pouch.  Buy six for a pre-coupon price of $11.34, then stack the $3 off $10 baking coupon listed above with three 75 cents off 2 coupons (sort by Food; multiple computers required.)  That knocks your price down to $6.09 out of pocket, and then you can submit for the 75 cents off 2 SavingStar rebate.  Your final price drops to $5.34 for all six bags, or 89 cents apiece!
  • Kraft Foods Mac & Cheese Shapes -- on sale for $1 per box.
  • Market Pantry Pasta Sauce -- on sale for $1 per jar.

  • Rio 2 Sing Along DVD -- on sale for $10 each.  We should see a 10% off Cartwheel offer for all movies, music, or books beginning December 14.  So stack that plus this $5 coupon (sort by Home Entertainment to find it fast.)  Your final price drops to just $4!
  • Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series -- on sale for $9.99 each, with a free $5 Target gift card back when you buy two in the same transaction.  We should also see a 10% off Cartwheel offer on all music, movies, or books beginning December 14.  So buy two books for $19.98, then use the 10% off Cartwheel.  You'll pay $17.98 out of pocket, and then you'll receive your $5 Target gift card to use for next time.  So that's like a final price of $12.98 for both books, or $6.49 apiece!
  • X-Men Days of Future Past DVD -- on sale for $14.99.  We should see a 10% off Cartwheel offer for all movies, music, or books beginning December 14.  So stack that plus this $5 coupon (sort by Home Entertainment to find it fast.)  Your final price drops to just $8.49!
