Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for December 14 - 20, 2014.

Best deals in the 12/14 CVS ad


  • CVS Probiotic Supplements -- on sale for $9.99, with $9.99 back in Extra Bucks.  So free!
  • Dulcolax -- 25-count boxes on sale for $6.99.  Go here starting December 14 to print a Try Me Free rebate form!
  • Betty Crocker Cake Mix -- on sale 2 for $3.  Buy two and use this 75 cents off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  You'll pay $2.25 out of pocket, then submit for the 75 cents off 2 SavingStar rebate.  Your final price falls to $1.50 for both, or 75 cents each.  NOTE: For San Antonio readers, the best deal is at HEB this week (just 13 cents per box after all discounts!)
  • Starbucks Iced Coffee -- on sale for $1.99 per bottle.  Use this $1 off coupon and get yours for just 99 cents.
  • Xtra Liquid Laundry Detergent -- 30-load bottles on sale for $1.99 each.  Scan your Extra Care card for a $1 off CVS coupon and grab a bottle for 99 cents.
  • Eucerin -- Spend $20, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad, but the CVS website lists the 5 oz Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Lotion bottle for $5.49 each.  So buy four for $21.96, then use four $2 off coupons from the 12/14 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $13.96 out of pocket, then receive $10 back in Extra Bucks.  That means your final price is like $3.96 for all four bottles, or 99 cents each!
  • Colgate Max or 2 in 1 Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.99, with $2 back in Extra Bucks.  So that's 99 cents each after all discounts.  Limit 2 per Extra Care card.
  • Swiffer Dusters Kits -- Spend $15 or more, get $5 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad, but the CVS website lists these at $4.99 each.  So buy three for $14.97, then use three of this $2 off coupon (sort by Household to find it fast.)  You'll pay $8.97 out of pocket, then snag your $5 back in Extra Bucks.  That means your final price for all three is like $3.97, or $1.32 per kit!
  • Mars Chocolate Holiday Minis -- on sale for $3 per bag, plus $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15 or more.  So buy five bags for $15, then stack two $1 off 2 coupons from the 11/23 Red Plum insert with this $1 off 2 CVS coupon (limit one per customer.)  You'll pay $12 for all five bags, and then you'll receive $5 back in Extra Bucks.  So that's like a final price of $7 for five bags, or just $1.40 per bag!
  • Wet N Wild Nail Polish Set -- on sale for $2.99 each (down from $4.99.)  Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 12/14 Smartsource insert, and get yours for $1.99 instead.  This is also part of a Spend $25, get $5 in Extra Bucks offer.  So if you can find enough sets, you could buy 9 sets for $26.91.  Use 9 coupons to knock your price down to $17.91, then get your $5 in Extra Bucks.  That's like paying $12.91 for 9 sets, or just $1.43 each!
  • Excedrin Migraine or Extra Strength -- 24-count boxes on sale for $4.99, with $2.50 back in Extra Bucks.  Use this $1 off coupon and your final price drops to $1.49.
  • Skintimate Shave Gel -- Get $2 back in Extra Bucks with purchase.  No prices listed in ad, but my store sells these for $3.79.  So that's $1.79 after Extra Bucks.
  • Tide Pods or Gain Flings -- 14-count bags on sale for $3.94.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 12/14 Red Plum insert and get yours for $1.94.
  • Nivea Men Face Care Products -- Buy 2, get $5 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad, but the CVS website shows prices starting at $6.49 each.  So buy two for $12.98, then use two $2 off coupons from the 12/14 Red Plum insert.  You'll pay $8.98 out of pocket, then get your $5 in Extra Bucks.  That knocks your price down to $3.98 for both, or $1.99 each!
  • Schick Razors -- Spend $25, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad, but the CVS website lists the Schick Xtreme 3 Razors 4-Pack For Women for $8.99 each.  So buy four packs for a pre-coupon price of $35.96, then use two BOGO coupons (sort by Personal Care to find them fast.)  You'll pay $17.98 out of pocket for all four bags, plus then you'll receive your $10 in Extra Bucks.  So that's like a final price of $7.98 for everything, or $1.99 per pack!
  • Nivea Body Wash or Scrub -- on sale 2 for $10, with $3 back in Extra Bucks.  Scan your Extra Care card for a $2 off 2 CVS coupon.  Your final price after all discounts drops to 2 for $5, or $2.50 each.
  • Lubriderm Lotion -- priced at $4.99 per bottle.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 11/2 Smartsource insert and pay $2.99 for yours.
  • Nestle Pure Life Bottled Water -- 24-count packs on sale for $3.79 each.  Buy two and use this $1 off 2 coupon.  Your new price drops to $3.29 per pack.
  • Fleece Throws -- on sale for $3.33 apiece.
  • Tide -- 19 to 32-load bottles on sale for $5.94.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 11/30 P&G insert and get yours for $3.94 instead.
  • Theraflu or Triaminic -- on sale for $6 per bottle.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 12/14 Smartsource insert, and get yours for $4.
  • Hershey's Holiday Kisses -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 12/7 Smartsource insert for additional savings.
