Walgreens Ad 7/20: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for July 20 - 26, 2014.

Best deals in the 7/20 Walgreens ad

  • Puracyn Wound and Skin Care Solution -- on sale for $10, with $10 back in Register Rewards.  So free!
  • Reach Complete Care, Advanced Design, or Total Care Toothbrushes -- 1 or 2-count packs priced at $2.99 each, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off or the $2 off coupons from the 5/4 Smartsource insert to get yours for free, or possibly a $1 money-maker if you can find the 2-count packs!
  • Virmax Male Enhancement Supplement -- on sale for $9.99 per box, with $9.99 back in Register Rewards.  So free!
  • Walgreens Points Booster Coupon -- watch for this coupon in your weekly ad if you haven't used it yet.  If this coupon is available in your area, scan it ONCE at the register, and you will receive 50 points for every $1 spent on Beauty/Personal Care items now through August 30, 2014.  The fine print says the following categories are included: Cosmetics, Beauty, Skin Care, Oral Care, Hair Care, Grooming, Bath, Acne Care, Fragrance, and Travel/Trial. 
  • Wexford 2-Pocket Folders -- on sale 6 for $1, which works out to 17 cents apiece.
  • Wexford Erasers -- 2-count packs or 15-count packs of eraser caps on sale for 25 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per transaction.
  • Wexford Mini Highlighters -- on sale for 25 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per transaction.
  • Wexford Protractors or Index Card Packs -- on sale for 29 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per transaction.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide -- on sale 3 bottles for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So that's like getting yours for 34 cents apiece!
  • Elmer's Glue -- bottles or 2-packs of glue sticks on sale for 49 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per transaction.
  • Wexford Sheet Protectors or Tab Dividers -- on sale for 50 cents per pack with in-ad coupon.  Limit 4 per transaction.
  • Single Sharpies -- on sale for 69 cents each.
  • Wexford No 2. Pencils -- 20-count packs on sale for 69 cents each.  Great price!
  • Binders -- on sale for 69 cents each.
  • Glade Plug-Ins Scented Oil Refills -- on sale 2 for $5.50, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use two of this 75 cents off coupon and pay $4 out of pocket, then receive your $1.50 back in RR.  So that's like getting yours for $2.50 for both.  Next, submit for the current $1 Ibotta offer.  Your final price drops to $1.50 for both refills, or 75 cents each!
  • Fiskar Scissors or Pencil Sharpeners -- on sale for 99 cents each.
  • Wexford Dry Erase Pens -- 4-count packs on sale for 99 cents each.
  • Sunny Smile Paper Plates -- 72-count packs on sale for 99 cents each.
  • Sally Hansen Nail Color -- on sale 2 for $4.  Use two $1 off coupons from the 7/13 Red Plum insert and pay a buck per bottle.
  • Colgate Total Advanced Mouthwash -- on sale 2 for $7, with $3 back in Register Rewards.  Use two $1 off coupons from the 6/29 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to a buck per bottle.
  • CapriSun -- 10-count boxes on sale 2 for $4, with 2000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So that's like paying a buck per box after your Balance Reward points.
  • Sweet'N Low Packets -- 120-count boxes on sale 2 for $3.  Use two of this 50 cents off coupon, and get yours for a dollar per box instead.
  • Jif Peanut Butter or Smucker's Strawberry Fruit Spread -- on sale 2 for $4.  Buy one of each, and use the 35 cents off Smucker's coupon from the 6/29 Red Plum, then submit for the current 75 cents off Jif Shopmium offer.  Your price for both drops to $2.90, or $1.45 per item.
  • Gerber Good Start Formula -- on sale for $24.99 per container.  Use this $3 off coupon (sort by Baby & Toddler to find it fast) and pay $21.99 for yours.
  • Crayola Crayons, Markers, and Colored Pencils -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
  • Dial Body Wash -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $2 off 2 coupon (sort by Personal Care) to get yours at an even better price.
