Sam's Club Allowing Military To Shop Without Membership During Government Shutdown

The military support website Military Avenue is reporting that select Sam's Club locations are allowing service personnel to shop without a membership during the government shutdown.

While it's apparently up to individual stores to honor this offer, stores that are offering the free entrance will do so for all active-duty, National Guard, Reserve, and retired service personnel.

I recommend calling ahead to your preferred location (find your closest store here) then bringing your military ID with you to the store.

I have been wondering what on-base military personnel would do for groceries with the commissaries closed because of the shutdown.  So hopefully many of you can take advantage of this kind offer!
