The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading program for 2013 is scheduled to run from May 21st through September 3rd.
Any child who reads eight books of their choice and records them in the free B&N Reading Journal can choose from a free book on the B&N reading list!
There are usually classic kids' titles like Flat Stanley and Curious George to choose from on the list, plus newer popular titles as well.
The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading program is for kids in grades 1 through 6. There's no purchase necessary to participate -- your child can check out all 8 books from the library if you want.
And you can bring in the completed reading journal starting on May 21st, so kids can even get a head start right now!
