IKEA Deal: Bring Your Own Friends Day March 9, 2013

If you were thinking about making a run to IKEA, put Saturday, March 9 on your calendar -- that's the day IKEA is hosting their annual Bring Your Own Friends event.

 IKEA will be offering coupons, gift card giveaways, free breakfast, and much more at almost all locations across the country (I think the only store not participating is in Portland.)

They will also be giving away those massive IKEA blue bags for free to all attendees who RSVP.  I have one of those bags, and it's absolutely astonishing how much stuff you can load into one of those.

I also like that you do not have to be present to win any of the gift card drawings -- so if you get there in the morning, but you win an afternoon drawing, they will still mail you your prize.

    You use it to put your purchases in. They dont offer plastic bags, so you can purchase one of these blue bags if you would like, if not just toss everything in your car w/o bags.

    These reusable blue bags are great to carry stuff in, especially around the holidays to carry lots of gifts around in, all in one hand.
