Here are the best deals I see in the Arlan's Market ad for January 30 -- February 5, 2013.

Best deals in the 1/30 Arlan's Market ad

  • Snack size oranges -- on sale for 17 cents each.
  • McCormick taco seasoning -- on sale for 50 cents each.  Buy two and use the 50 cents off 2 coupon from the 1/27 Red Plum insert.  Your price drops to a quarter each. (If you can shop today or tomorrow before the coupon policy changes over, the coupon will double to $1, making both packets free!)
  • Texas grapefruit -- on sale for 34 cents each.
  • Buddig lunchmeat -- 2oz packs priced at 59 cents each.  Buy four and use the $1 off 4 coupon from the 12/09 Smartsource.  Your new price falls to 34 cents each.
  • Green cabbage -- on sale for 50 cents per pound.
  • San Marcos diced jalapenos -- on sale for 50 cents per can.
  • Fryer leg quarters -- on sale for 59 cents per pound in value-pack sizing.  Limit 2 value packs per customer, and you must make an additional $10 in purchase to qualify for the sale pricing.
  • Roma tomatoes -- on sale for 69 cents per pound.
  • Kraft barbecue sauce -- on sale for 69 cents per bottle.
  • Bush's beans -- select varieties on sale for 77 cents per can.
  • Seasoned chicken leg quarters -- on sale for 77 cents per pound in value-pack sizing.
  • Fanta, Barq's, or Minute Maid soda -- on sale for 99 cents per 2-liter bottle.
  • Parade frozen potatoes -- on sale for 99 cents per bag.
  • Mama Rosa's frozen pizzas -- all varieties on sale for $2.79 each.
  • Maxim's Farm 30-count pack of eggs -- on sale for $2.88 per pack.  That's like paying $1.15 per dozen, which is a pretty good price.
